WHO:
Anyone interested in auditioning for the musical next school year, including incoming Freshman – current 8th graders.

EVERYONE interested in auditioning should be there. Seniors (this years Juniors) as well as Freshman should be in attendance.

WHY:
Here is an opportunity for you to find out more about the auditions and what you should prepare over the summer to be ready to audition on the second day of school. Remember EVERYTHING is an AUDITION.

We will dive into the characters so that you know who you should audition for and you can ask our Music Director Mr. Steele, what part you sing if you are unsure.

We will have some HONEST feedback on who you should concentrate on – not everyone can sing every part! We want you to succeed and to do so, we all need to talk honestly about what parts you should focus on as we move into the summer.

Not everyone is a lead…if you want a speaking part, you will need to expand your way of thinking about selecting whom you audition for – helpful insight if you would wish to be successful in our department, a college program and beyond!
